Kayella Mackenzie, Founder

Kayella started her career as a paramedic, where she worked as both a Primary Care and Advanced Care paramedic on land and in-flight for over 15 years. Early in her career, she began teaching pre-hospital care to paramedic students and frontline paramedics, eventually being recruited to design and facilitate several healthcare training programs. She earned her degree in psychology from Queen’s University and has over 10 years of experience in progressive leadership positions including specialties in mentorship, investigations, recruitment, team engagement and program management. She completed specialized training in Community Paramedicine and developed an award-winning Community Paramedicine program in Northern Ontario. In the past 7 years, Kayella has achieved specialized certifications in Just Culture investigations project management, and holistic nutrition with future plans to receive certification in Emotional Intelligence assessments. Kayella has a passion for creating engaging education and mentoring leaders in achieving their potential through personal growth and professional development opportunities.
